Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in a six-month contract role. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and completion of moderate-sized projects, managing associated risk mitigation, and ensuring safe delivery, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met.
This is a highly visible client-facing role that requires strong relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to anticipate client needs beyond the immediate scope. You will work closely with other disciplines and the client to enable robust technical decisions that ultimately add value to the client and asset portfolio.
You will have significant experience in project delivery management, field experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing risk during the design process. Additionally, you will have a focus on delivering solutions and be adept at managing a dynamic environment with varying tasks and changing priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution
* 5+ years of proven experience in the Oil and Gas Brownfields Engineering / EPCM sector in Australia, including 3+ years of relevant experience in a Project Engineering role
* A background in Instruments and Control is ideal
* Significant experience in project delivery management
* Field experience
* Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client-facing roles
* Project engineering experience with extensive knowledge of Australian and International applicable codes and standards
