An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse - Urology to our Surgical Services Outpatients Team to lead and deliver person centred nursing care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. The Clinical Nurse is expected to be able to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making. The Clinical Nurse will work within the multidisciplinary team to provide a proactive, comprehensive and coordinated service to patients providing exceptional care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the centre of all we do. Key Responsibilities include: * Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. * Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - State 2015 - Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values. * Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety. * Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position. Remuneration value up to $111 073 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (part time position, 64 hrs p.f.).
