About You
You are an individual with strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills. You have great attention to detail. The ideal balance for you is to be able to collaborate and support others within a team and when required, able to work autonomously on tasks. You consider yourself a fast learner and know your way around MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook. You have a reasonable grasp of basic hand tool use and enjoy being solutions oriented. You don't enjoy sitting idle, always looking for something to do. You enjoy connecting with customers. You will have a Victorian drivers license.
About the Role
You will work with the Field Operations team assisting in maintaining ZAX Amusement machines at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will learn many aspects of the Field Operations requirements including following run sheets efficiently, recording machine data, restocking with prizes and executing theme changes, adhering to cash handling policies, basic machine maintenance as directed, and maintaining cleanliness for a welcoming appearance.
· Travel from HQ base in Springvale (with a team member or solo) to a large variety of sites, including but not limited to cinemas, hotels, bars and play centres.
· Stock delivery, set up and stock control of prize machines and toy redemption machines.
· Basic maintenance and repairs, including changing claws in skill tester crane machines, clearing coin jams, etc.
· Cleaning machines in venue to a high standard, including detailing inside the machines to avoid build-up of dust and other contaminants.
· Support with general stock control of prizes (warehouse, mobile and machines).
· Noting any service requirements for the service team to attend to, and working with a team member to log the tasks.
· Building rapport with our current and new external stakeholders in the form of venue managers and staff where machines are housed.
· Learning to test machines on site to ensure all games are in good condition, with no faults, errors, or loose/faulty parts.
· Working with Field operation team member to complete coin/cash collections and returning collected funds to Springvale base.
· From time to time assist with transportation, installation, and removal of machines.
Selection criteria
We welcome applications from individuals with different experience. There are some essential criteria that you need in order to properly perform your duties, which are listed below:
* Strong English communication skills. Both written and verbal.
* Able to lift and move items
* Basic hand tool skills (use a screw driver, spanner, socket set etc)
* MS Office Word and Excel
* Strong safe working practices / knowledge and hazard awareness
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Additional Criteria – Desirable but not essential
· Experience in collecting, counting and reconciling cash.
· Experience in Arcade machine / Vending machine / Family Entertainment Centres.
