Service Technician Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and providing exceptional service to our customers.
This is a varied role that involves working on John Deere Agricultural Machinery, including tractors, combine harvesters, sprayers, and cotton pickers. You will be responsible for delivering expert service and support to customers and partners, and contributing to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery
* Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with complex equipment
* Provide technical guidance and support to customers and colleagues
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A mechanical trade certificate or equivalent experience
* Previous experience in engine overhauls and major repairs, including electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic skills
* A current and valid driver's license
* Safety consciousness, focus on solutions, and readiness to grow
* Proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
