We are currently seeking a driven Storeperson to support our rural clients at our Humpty Doo branch. What a great place to learn and develop your career!
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and on time.
* Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, dispatch, and delivery of goods
* Unloading stock from trucks
* Operation of forklift
* Check and receive stock in and out of store
* Maintain the presentation of the branch and keep shelves full of product for display and sale
* Be proactive in keeping site clean and safe
* Processing counter sales through POS
* Maintaining safety processes
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture.
* A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
* Forklift licence is required, and drivers' licence is essential
* HR Licence is advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
* Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
