Due to continuous growth and internal progression, we are actively seeking a multi-skilledShotfirers to join our teams at the Gregory or Jellinbah mine sites
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will join our established team and act as a senior member, working a 7/7 day shift only(12hr) roster.

Core accountabilities include:
* Safe and efficient surface shotfiring operations
* Safe and efficient operation of our Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) - training provided
* Carry out pre-starts
* Regularly carry out workplace Take 5's
* Attend toolbox discussions
* Contribute to a respectful and inclusive work environment
About you
* Experience in shotfiring operations in an open cut environment essential
* Experience in operating MPU's in an open cut environment (desirable)
* Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry
* Experience using both Non-Electric and Electronic Blasting Systems (desirable)
* Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency
* Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
What you need
* Current HR licence highly desired - open manual's licence essential
* QLD Shotfirer's ticket highly desired
* QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives
* Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
* Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
* National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
* Relevant RII competencies (RIIBLA201A & RIIBLA203A) highly regarded
* Trainer and assessor qualifications highly advantageous
