With a long-standing history and a broad operational footprint, it manages significant volumes of commodities across resources, agriculture, and industrial sectors.

About The Role

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management across a complex and high-profile environment.

Reporting to an executive leader and working closely with the broader leadership team, you will develop and deliver strategies that ensure organisational priorities are clearly communicated and well supported across government, industry, community, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a high-performing corporate affairs team, providing clear direction and support to achieve both operational and strategic outcomes
* Develop and execute integrated communications and stakeholder engagement strategies, including internal communications, media, executive messaging, and reporting
* Ensure consistent and effective brand positioning across all channels, including oversight of crisis communications and community engagement
* Lead stakeholder engagement across major projects and initiatives, building strong relationships with government, regulators, industry, and community groups
* Oversee digital platforms, campaigns, and corporate reporting to support broader organisational and commercial priorities
* Represent the organisation externally across key forums, ensuring alignment with governance, compliance, and operational standards
About you

You are a senior corporate affairs or communications leader with the ability to operate confidently in a complex and highly regulated environment.

You will bring:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, journalism, business, marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience in corporate affairs, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement, ideally within infrastructure, energy, resources, or similar sectors
* Strong leadership capability, with experience building and developing high-performing teams
* Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable messaging
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting executive-level stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a data-informed approach
* An understanding of governance, legislation, and best practice within complex operating environments (or the ability to quickly build this knowledge)
