Radiology Clerk – Coordinate patient registrations and support radiography services at Sandringham Hospital, Alfred Health.
Employment Details
- Full time – 80 hours per fortnight + monthly ADO
- Permanent position
- Monday to Friday, wide-ranging shift times
- Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 1 Level 1‑5 (HS1‑HS17)
- Location: Sandringham Hospital
Key Responsibilities
As a Radiology Clerk you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating radiology request requests
- Registering patients and ensuring they are processed for their tests
- Providing high‑quality clerical support in a timely, effective and efficient manner
- Meeting customer needs and adhering to Alfred Health standards of practice
Experience and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound clerical, phone, booking and reception skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
- Adaptability to change and flexibility
- Follow directions and comply with Alfred Health & departmental policies and procedures
- Desirable: understanding of medical terminology
- Previous clerical experience in the medical field is an advantage
