We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics) to join our team in Canberra.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories and electrical systems.
* Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment.
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken.
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment.
* Testing, maintaining, replacing and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
Essential Requirements:
* 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type).
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics).
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
* Strong team player.
* Ability to follow supervisory direction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude.
* Passion for safe work practices.
* Valid work visa.
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain).
* Current Australian Driver's licence.
