This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence, maintaining business standards, and supporting business growth.
Key Duties Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Overseeing daily store operations to ensure consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
Recruiting, training, supervising and rostering staff to maintain adequate labour coverage across trading hours.
Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock control, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing purchasing.
Implementing merchandising standards and promotional strategies to maximise sales and customer engagement.
Managing financial performance including sales reporting, budgeting, cost control, and KPI monitoring.
Handling escalated customer inquiries and resolving complex complaints.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, store policies, and company procedures.
Analysing market trends and customer feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Leading and engaging the team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Skills Experience Required To be successful in this role, you will have: Holds relevant qualifications in at least Diploma or Advanced Diploma level At least 1 year of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role within retail.
Robust understanding of retail operations, stock management, and customer service principles.
Proven leadership capability with experience managing and training staff.
Solid organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to achieve sales targets and drive business performance.
