Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Resourcing and Experience Lead to join our People and Culture team. This role is pivotal in supporting workforce planning and engagement across the Industrial & Energy East portfolio. You will oversee resourcing, compliance, and workforce engagement, ensuring operational excellence and a positive employment experience for our casual workforce.
Your focus will include delivering quality-driven processes, maintaining compliance, enhancing team engagement, and developing team capabilities through coaching, training, and effective workload management.
This is a full‑time permanent opportunity that will be based out of our Milton, Brisbane office with flexible working and WFH opportunities available.
What We're Looking For
* Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
* Experience: Minimum 3 years in workforce planning, compliance, or resourcing roles, ideally within construction, industrial, or utilities sectors.
* Skills & Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of compliance requirements and workforce eligibility.
o Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for informed decision‑making.
o Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
o Knowledge of scheduling and resource management best practices.
* Personal Attributes: Collaborative, highly organised, and committed to continuous improvement with strong interpersonal skills.
