Aboriginal Youth Justice Specialist
This role aims to enhance outcomes for Indigenous youth by delivering community-based services.
* BUILD strong relationships with the Aboriginal community and key stakeholders to provide targeted support.
* CONDUCT comprehensive case assessments and develop tailored intervention plans, incorporating evidence-based programs where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work collaboratively with local Aboriginal communities and other relevant parties to deliver effective front-line services.
* To identify and address the complex needs of young people in the Batemans Bay area, providing a supportive environment for their growth and development.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or related field.
* Proven experience working with Indigenous youth and families.
* Awareness of cultural safety principles and practices.
