About the role
BaptistCare at home is currently seeking a full time Team Leader who will be responsible for providing leadership, support and mentoring to our Care Workers. This role covers staff in the Orange & Bathurst region. This role will manage day-to-day operations of the team with a focus on providing the best level of care and satisfaction for our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, managing and supporting the Care Workers on a day-to-day basis to ensure a coordinated, consistent and high-quality approach to the service provided
Undertaking consultation and regular meetings as required with support service specialists such as HR, WHS and RTW consultants to ensure professional delivery of care worker support.
Facilitating recruitment while ensuring BaptistCare's policies and procedures are followed.
Supporting new staff through the orientation, buddy shifts and probationary period, including the development and review of a probationary performance plan.
Assisting Care Workers to access leave as required by working in collaboration with the Roster Clerks whilst ensuring BaptistCare's leave policy is followed.
About you
You have a Diploma of Community Services, Human Resources or equivalent qualification, knowledge, and experience.
Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent
Demonstrated experience supervising staff with the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
Current NSW/ACT drivers licence
Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Quality Standards is desirable.
