A well-established, privately owned commercial builder is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their close-knit team. Operating since the ****s, they deliver a mix of commercial, hospitality, and industrial-lite projects for long-term repeat clients.
This is a stable, family-run environment where you work directly with the directors, have clear visibility across projects, and enjoy a trusted, low-ego team culture.
The Role
You will support Project Managers and Site Managers across commercial projects ranging from $1M–$10M, handling the full CA scope, including:
Procurement, subcontractor negotiations, contract awards
Progress claims, variations, cost reporting and forecasting
Document control, RFI management and programme support
Working closely with the site team to maintain quality, compliance and delivery timelines
This position is office-based in Liverpool, with regular site interaction as required.
What We're Looking For
4–6 years' experience as a Contract Administrator
Strong background in commercial construction (hospitality, clubs, industrial, refurb or fit-out)
Candidates from residential-only backgrounds will not be considered
Must be from a head contractor background
Solid understanding of procurement, contracts, financial control and project documentation
Ability to work hands-on within a lean delivery team
Reliable, low-ego, steady communicator who values stability and long-term growth
