Insurance Coordinator | 3-Month Contract. Are you a detail-oriented insurance professional looking for a high-impact contract role? Join a dynamic team to support a period of increased activity, ensuring the seamless delivery of annual insurance renewals and claims management programs.
Role highlights: 3-month assignment paying $67 per hour + Super. You will partner with internal stakeholders, brokers, and insurers to manage corporate and project-based insurance portfolios.
Responsibilities
* Claims & Policy Management: Lodge new claims and proactively follow up on all open files to ensure progress.
* Manage under-deductible Public Liability claims and assist with recovery for stolen/dumped vehicles.
* Maintain and update the insurance claims and policy registers.
* Review existing policies regularly to ensure they remain current, effective, and aligned with business activities.
* Coordinate internal information requests and gather data for underwriting and renewal workgroups.
* Support construction-related insurance by tracking project dates and coordinating business-to-broker interactions.
* Prepare engineering report spreadsheets and track required actions across internal portfolios.
* Handle finance duties including raising POs, preparing renewal premium invoices, and managing AP/AR for claims.
* Assist with the Claims Management and Loss Adjusting tender process.
* Manage general requests such as Certificates of Currency and travel tracking.
Qualifications
* Expertise: Proven experience in insurance administration, ideally within construction or corporate environments.
* Stakeholder Skills: Ability to liaise effectively with brokers, insurers, and internal business units.
* Financial Literacy: Comfortable handling premium invoices, POs, and budget alignment.
* Efficiency: Proactive approach to tracking deadlines, especially during peak renewal periods.
