Change & Training Manager
Contract for 12 months | Darwin City, Northern Territory
Join a Northern Government Department as a Change & Training Manager, where you will lead the delivery, implementation, and management of the Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program (CCSRP) Organisational Change and Training strategy / plans and resources to support the program in implementing the required Organisational wide systems change and training activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide change management, engagement, communications, and training advice to support program strategies.
- Lead delivery of change and training initiatives, including design, implementation, and evaluation of frameworks.
- Manage training, change, communications support officers to deliver strategies aligned with program objectives.
- Provide quality support on business systems and processes, including training for various user groups.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the change and training initiatives' effectiveness and adjust approaches in consultation.
- Identify, develop, and implement improvement opportunities, training resources, and engagement approaches for sustainable change.
- Research and apply innovative methodologies to ensure cost-effective, high-quality training for a diverse workforce.
What we’re looking for?
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years organizational change management, communication, and training experience on large IT system projects across dispersed locations.
- Expertise in change and training management, implementing programs, and evaluating initiatives.
- Ability to translate strategies into measurable outcomes that create alignment.
- Stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, influence, collaboration, resistance management, information delivery skills.
- Strong analytical skills, assessing complex issues, evaluating risks and benefits, giving evidence-based recommendations, and managing resources in energetic environments.
- Proven leadership, mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, building capability, and driving innovation in a changing climate.
- Demonstrated professionalism, upholding DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, respectful, and innovative.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and experience in delivering Organisation Change, Engagement, Project Management or Systems training in large scale business / ICT transformation programs and projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Change Management (Prosci), Training, Healthcare or equivalent.
