Key Responsibilities:
• Provide customer service and manage key stakeholders.
• Supervise and coordinate the building trades to maintain, repair, replace, and ensure facility integrity.
Responsibilities include:
1. First response coordination of emerging outages impacting asset availability.
2. Site auditing of work activity safety documentation and Operational Process Confirmation as required.
3. Participation in Subcontractor and Project Management Quality Control activities, including validation of work scope completion and value for money assessments.
4. Site access coordination, including inductions, drawings, maps, and escorts for Subcontractors.
5. Establishing and maintaining liaison with Client and Customer representatives.
6. Entering information regarding works into relevant systems in a timely manner.
7. Undertaking other reasonable duties as requested by the Infrastructure Services Manager.
Requirements:
• Trade or tertiary qualifications or experience in Carpentry/Building/Plumbing/Handy person.
• Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive relationships with Client and Customer.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn/use computerised software.
• Proficiency in Permit to Work System, and qualifications in at least one high-risk discipline highly desirable.
• Australian Driver's Licence.
