Job Summary:
Korean BBQ cuisine, meat selection, preparation, and Korean stews and vegetable prep
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations:
- Maintain food cost control and minimise waste through efficient inventory management.
Food Quality & Safety:
- Ensure all dishes meet high standards of taste, presentation, and authenticity.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation guidelines.
Collaboration & Innovation:
- Work closely with the restaurant management team to enhance the guest experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new dishes or techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Assist in developing special promotions, seasonal menus, and new product offerings.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of traditional Korean side dishes (banchan), stews, and sauces.
- Familiarity with Korean dining etiquette and cultural elements.
