About Grill Americano Sydney
Following the success of the Flinders Lane original, this new outpost of our opulent Venetian-style steakhouse makes its home in one of the city's most significant architectural icons. Reimagining the Grill Americano concept especially for Sydney, the restaurant is a vision of grandeur and glamour, showcasing a lauded wine program, and ever-evolving menus centred around the kitchen's prized wood oven and Josper grill.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for the industry's best chefs to join our opening team in Sydney this October on a full-time basis.
Must be willing to relocate.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have
Chef experience in a premium a-la-corte restaurant
Experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
Management candidates must have solid understanding of management practices and financial budgets/targets
Exemplary leadership with focus on staff development
Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing team
Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
Solid understanding of food safety standards
Proven ability in building effective relationships
Organisational and time-management skills
Experience using Deputy (or similar Time & Attendance system), H&L, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication and presentation
Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
