Swim Education Team Leader

We are a dynamic and expanding swim education centre dedicated to providing quality swimming instruction in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Our team is committed to creating a positive learning atmosphere, with a focus on high-quality teaching and personal attention.


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise a team of swim instructors and support staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and customer service excellence.
* Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews to swim instructors, fostering continuous improvement and skill development.
* Organise and deliver ongoing training programs for staff to ensure consistency in teaching methods and safety protocols.
* Maintain the pool and school facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Oversee daily pool operations, including water quality checks, temperature regulation, and pool equipment maintenance.
* Enforce safety protocols and ensure all staff adhere to our safety guidelines, including emergency procedures.
* Regularly review and update safety procedures, conduct safety drills, and monitor compliance.
* Assist in tracking attendance, enrollments, and revenue-related data.
* Support management with reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and help identify areas for improvement.
* Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.


Requirements:

* A fully qualified Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety, with Infant Aquatics or a willingness to obtain certification.
* A passion for swim education and creating a positive and safe learning experience for children and families.
* Proven experience in managing a swim school, aquatic centre, or similar facility, with strong knowledge of pool plant operations, safety protocols, and swim instruction techniques.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, including pool maintenance and child safeguarding practices.
