We're looking for a dynamic and outcomes-driven MuleSoft Account Executive to drive sales revenue by building lasting relationships with key government stakeholders and organisations across the public sector. In this highly strategic role, you will champion MuleSoft's industry-leading integration platform to enable digital transformation and innovation in government entities.

This is a quota-carrying role where you will act as the "CEO" of your territory, owning all aspects of the go-to-market strategy and leading the sales cycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will address the unique challenges faced by government organisations, positioning MuleSoft's solutions to drive API-led connectivity, data integration, and streamlined processes for public sector success.

**_Your Impact _**:
This is not your typical software sales role. As a MuleSoft Account Executive, you will have a direct influence on how government agencies achieve their transformation goals. By understanding sector-specific challenges such as regulatory requirements, procurement cycles, and budget constraints, you'll play a key role in advancing the digital capabilities of public sector organisations.

**_Key Responsibilities _**:

- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans for public sector, aligning MuleSoft's integration solutions with government initiatives and long-term objectives.
- Sales Leadership: Own and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead qualification to negotiation and closing. Meet and exceed sales targets by delivering value-driven solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector, including executives, program managers, and technical leaders. Position yourself as a trusted advisor for digital transformation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success professionals, to ensure seamless customer engagement and solution delivery.
- Solution Selling: Identify and address critical challenges for public sector organisations, presenting innovative MuleSoft solutions that demonstrate measurable ROI and improve operational efficiency.
- Government Expertise: Stay informed on the unique challenges, regulatory frameworks, and procurement cycles specific to public sector.
- CRM Excellence: Use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate account plans, track opportunities, and forecast sales progress.

**_What We're Looking For _**:

- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated experience in enterprise software sales, ideally in public sector or regulated industries. A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in complex sales environments.
- Government/Public Sector Expertise: Knowledge of government operations, policies, and procurement processes is highly desirable.
- Consultative Selling: Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, articulate ROI and value propositions, and lead solution-based conversations.
- Strategic Thinker: Experience in developing and executing detailed account strategies for long-term success, coupled with the ability to achieve short-term wins.
- Collaborative Leader: Skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver optimal customer outcomes.
- Adaptability & EQ: Strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and a growth mindset to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment.
- Technology Savvy: Passion for digital transformation and familiarity with MuleSoft's API-led integration platform is a plus.
