About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Power Equipment Technician / Motorbike Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a range of small engines, motorcycles, and outdoor power equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles and small engines
* Service and repair motorcycles, ATVs, lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and other power equipment
* Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake service, carburettor tuning, and engine adjustments
* Assemble and set up new equipment
* Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
* Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance requirements
* Order and manage spare parts when needed
Requirements:
* Experience as a motorbike mechanic or small engine technician
* Knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engines
* Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
* Experience with tools and workshop equipment
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid driver's licence (motorcycle licence preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Trade qualification in motorcycle mechanics or small engine repair
* Experience with brands such as Honda, Can-Am, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Stihl, Husqvarna, or similar
* Experience working with outdoor power equipment
