The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project/Design Manager to lead the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering design projects across a portfolio of energy, mining and infrastructure work. You will work closely with engineers, designers, project controls and clients to ensure seamless delivery and high‐quality engineering outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering design teams across project lifecycles
* Manage project scope, schedule, budget and delivery risks
* Oversee design development from concept through detailed engineering and execution support
* Act as key interface between clients, engineers and internal delivery teams
* Ensure design outputs meet technical standards, safety requirements and client specifications
* Monitor project progress and support reporting on schedule, cost and performance
* Manage design changes, technical queries and project variations
* Drive coordination across civil, structural, electrical and associated engineering disciplines
* Support continuous improvement in design delivery processes and project execution
About You
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Structural or related discipline)
* Proven experience in design management, project engineering or project delivery roles
* Experience in energy, mining, utilities, infrastructure or EPC/EPCM environments
* Strong technical understanding of engineering design and project execution
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
* Strong organisational, problem‐solving and decision‐making skills
* Ability to balance technical delivery with commercial and program objectives
* Excellent communication and leadership capability
