Job Title: Mainframe Expert
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe professional to join our team. As a Mainframe Expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and digital transformation within the banking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Mainframe Modernization skills, providing both functional and technical expertise in transitioning Mainframe core banking product data to third-party cloud-based solutions.
* Implement zOS APIs for various functionalities to integrate with Microservices and Digital platforms.
* Participate actively in Consolidation projects, focusing on consolidating multiple core banking systems into a single system to simplify operations and reduce complexity.
* Lead upcoming projects, including Broker Uplift, Data Lifecycle Management, and White Labeling initiatives.
* Implement pending functionalities and capabilities for Broker Lending platform rollout and the Product and Pricing Engine.
* Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Development, and Testing teams to streamline Core Banking functionalities for the above projects.
* Guide and mentor the Mainframe development and System testing teams, providing them with Transformation and Simplification strategies as part of the Digitization project.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Delivery Lead managing Technology & Transformation projects for a banking customer, specifically focusing on the Mainframe Core Banking system.
* Strong understanding of Mainframe and integration platforms, Agile principles, and practices.
* In-depth knowledge of banking portfolios, including Mortgage Loans System (MLN), Commercial Loans System (CLN), Demand Deposit System (DDA), and Revolving Credit System (RCA).
* Understanding of varying fees and rates, such as Default fee, Monthly service fees, Originations fee, Global rate change, etc.
