Position Title: Integration Specialist
Classification: HS5
Salary per hour (exc. super): $46.99 + over award payment
Hours per fortnight: 76

**Role Description**
The purpose of the Integration Specialist is to lead the planning, coordination, and solution development and implementation activities that enable the interaction of data between systems at Bendigo Health. The integration space within Bendigo Health is built on the Health Level 7 (HL7) messaging framework, which is coupled with our Integration Engine and HL7 archive database. Compliance not being mandatory coupled with varying levels of versions of HL7 implemented; integration within the Health environment also requires extra industry practices of Database Federation, ETL processes and API/Service employment. This role then is both complex and exciting requiring well developed analysis, design, database and programming skills. It is essential this role manages integration to the standards set by the organisation. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages and data structures, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical in successful performance in this role.
