Heavy Machinery Operator Job
We are seeking an experienced heavy machinery operator to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operate a range of heavy machinery, including bobcat equipment, to complete tasks such as setting up mesh enclosures, back blading around concrete slabs, and installing sediment barriers.
* Maintain and inspect assigned equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
* Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
* Support and assist other team members as needed.
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry.
* Familiarity with various bobcat models and attachments.
* Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and ability to work safely in dynamic environments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
* Current manual MR licence and white card.
