Your new role
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for driving cost-effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials, finished goods and products. This role requires a proactive approach to negotiation, analysis, and process optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Identify purchasing needs and source suppliers to achieve the best balance of cost and quality.
Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimise financial outcomes.
Conduct supplier evaluations and ensure compliance with organisational standards.
Analyse spend and inventory data/management to uncover savings opportunities and improve processes.
Recommend adjustments to inventory levels and resourcing structures for greater efficiency.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in an end to end procurement position with a proven record of delivering results.
Background in retail/manufacturing procurement environment desirable.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier agreements.
Hands-on experience with end-to-end supply chain processes and ERP systems (Epicor highly desirable).
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
A relevant degree is advantageous but not essential; manufacturing background and Lean knowledge are desirable.
