Lead Safety Strategist
This pivotal role plays a crucial part in ensuring operational safety within the Defence Youth Safety Framework.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic advice on safety matters to senior management and stakeholders
* Driving Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Defence Youth Safety Framework outcomes
* Ensuring technical safety oversight for national and regional activities
* Maintaining common safety practices across Defence
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of WHS Regulations and Policies, Youth Safety and Protection requirements, and working with youth in development programs. They should be able to deliver safety and protection outcomes in diverse environments.
This position collaborates closely with senior executives, government bodies, and Defence agencies to ensure all safety and legal responsibilities are met.
