About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Accounts Officer (Level 5+) to support our finance team during a three-month period.
This position requires the ability to manage high transaction volumes with exceptional accuracy, while maintaining timely processing across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process high volumes of vendor invoices efficiently and accurately.
Raise purchase orders across property, utilities, and project categories.
Prepare and manage the weekly payment batch, including creating and transferring batch files and assisting with reconciliations.
Respond to vendor enquiries and reconcile vendor accounts.
Accounts Receivable & Billing
Raise client invoices and purchase orders for monthly utilities and cleaning charges.
General Accounting Support
Prepare and post journals.
Assist with monthly utilities accruals and support other month-end activities.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a high-volume accounts environment, demonstrating excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Experience with payment batches, reconciliations, and vendor management.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining quality and compliance.

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
