About the Role:

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other designated spaces. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high standards of cleanliness, disinfecting surfaces, managing waste, following infection control procedures, and restocking supplies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
* Managing waste, including regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
* Following strict infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infections.
* Restocking cleaning and hygiene supplies, such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents.
* Operating floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other equipment as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, passionate about delivering excellent service, and willing to learn and grow with our organization. You should possess strong communication skills, be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service. A willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check is also essential.
