**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced analyst to join our team in Sydney. As a Global Markets Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of exceptional client service across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives and FX.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the business, ensuring seamless trade allocation, matching and confirmation processes, as well as effective settlement management and fail investigations.
Additionally, you will assess market changes and present impacts and recommendations to the business and operations management, identify opportunities for improvements in settlement efficiency and control, and participate in strategic and tactical projects with other operations areas, IT and management.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
* General knowledge of cash equity/fixed income/derivative products
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - essential for interacting at all levels, across business disciplines and regions
* Self-motivated, driven and strong team player
* Strong technical / analytical / problem solving skills
* Time management and ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment;
* Accuracy and attention to detail essential
* Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel, automation and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly
