Mid–Senior UX/UI Designer (Immediate Start, Remote – AEST)
2–3 month FTC | Dijitally
We’re on the lookout for a Mid–Senior UX/UI Designer who can hit the ground running and deliver high-quality, user-centred design in a fast-paced environment.
This is an immediate start on a 2–3 month fixed-term contract. You’ll work closely with our PM, Development, SEO, and Creative teams to shape user flows, wireframes, and polished UI, ensuring seamless, intuitive, and impactful experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Take ownership of UX/UI design tasks within an active large-scale digital experience project
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that balance usability with brand expression
- Translate requirements and insights into elegant user journeys and responsive UI solutions
- Deliver high-quality, accessible UI assets in Figma (and/or similar tools)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is carried through to delivery
- Bring adaptability and attention to detail to a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
What you’ll bring
- 4–6+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally in digital agency or enterprise environments
- A strong portfolio showcasing both UX thinking and polished UI execution
- Experience designing websites or digital platforms with multiple user journeys
- Strong grasp of design systems and component-based design
- Proficiency in Figma (with knowledge of Sketch, InVision, or Adobe XD also useful)
- Excellent communication skills – confident working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to pick things up quickly in a remote setup
How we work
This is a remote role aligned to AEST working hours, open to applicants across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll stay connected with the team via Slack, G-Suite, and regular WIPs – with the autonomy and support you need to do great work.
