IT Engineers – Foxtel SBB Installation (FIFO WA)
• Short-term FIFO assignment: 4–18 March **** (15 days, with potential contingency extension)
• Supporting a large-scale entertainment system upgrade at a remote WA resources site
• Hands-on installation role delivering ~ 1,950 Foxtel Set-Top Boxes (SBBs) About the Role Green Light Worldwide is seeking IT Engineers to support a concentrated Foxtel Set-Top Box (SBB) installation phase as part of a broader Village Entertainment System upgrade at a remote Western Australian resources site.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on deployment role working alongside other technical teams to complete a high-volume rollout within a defined window.
Engineers must be comfortable working to tight schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Pick and prepare Foxtel SBBs for installation into allocated village rooms
• Remove TVs from VESA mounts and attach SBB brackets
• Remount TVs and connect SBBs to power and display units
• Work alongside Wi-Fi and access point installers during room upgrades
• Record SBB details accurately on installation run sheets
• Remove legacy equipment, packaging, and rubbish from rooms
• Follow all safety, site, and documentation requirements Requirements / About You
• Previous experience in IT deployment, AV installation, or technical field work
• Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on installation tasks
• Able to work efficiently in a FIFO, remote-site environment
• Available for the full 15-day swing, with flexibility for contingency days
• Willing to complete PPE and pre-employment medical prior to mobilisation
