As a seasoned professional in project management, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality engineering and project delivery services globally. Our company is renowned for its expertise in the resources, infrastructure, and industrial processes sectors.
We are currently seeking a skilled Project Controls Manager to join our Perth-based team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing a standard full suite of Project Controls, including Cost Estimating, Cost Management, Planning & Scheduling, Risk & Change Management, progress measurement, and project analysis.
The tasks you'll perform:
* Assist in establishing control budgets, schedules, and baseline project quantities for measurement, change control, analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
* Monitor project performance, including costs, progress against schedule, safety, and internal reviews to provide a transparent assessment of critical performances across all business units.
* Evaluate project progress to ensure it meets budgetary and deadline objectives.
* Recognize progress concerns and report them immediately to the Project Managers to ensure projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
* Prepare project-specific reports, including progress, financial, and resource information, including actual costs, earned value, and forecasts.
* Manage and coordinate inputs from various team members, including engineering, procurement, contracts, project, and construction teams.
Required skills and qualifications:
* 10+ years' experience in a similar role with relevant industry experience.
* Undergraduate qualification in Engineering or Accounting/Commerce.
* Thorough knowledge of project control principles, theories, concepts, tools, and reporting.
* Exceptional ability to multitask and work at pace in a complex and challenging EPCM sector.
