About the Role
The Assistant/Centre Manager in Training will support and directly work with the Centre Manager. They will act as the Responsible Person whenever the Centre Manager is absent, overseeing day‐to‐day operation and administration. Responsibilities include ensuring the provision of high‐quality early childhood education and care, sharing opening and closing duties, managing staff in rooms, rostering, covering breaks, and maintaining centre compliance and operations.

Responsibilities
* Support the Centre Manager in all elements of centre life
* Assume responsibility for day‐to‐day operation and administration when the Centre Manager is absent
* Share opening and closing duties of the centre
* Oversee and work with staff in rooms, including rostering and covering staff breaks
* Ensure centre compliance and operations are maintained to policy and regulation standards
* Provide high‐quality early childhood education and care to children and families
Qualifications & Experience
* Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
* Experience in an early childhood education or similar environment
* Ability to work flexible full‐time hours as required
