Alfred Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS) is friendly to infants, children, young people and their families/carers.
We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks.
We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers.
Our service is divided into two streams: 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support.

**What you'll be doing**
We have an exciting opportunity with a newly funded NDIS Support position.
In this role, you will support the operational interface between ICYAMHWS and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), to ensure consumers and carers are supported to access and participate in the NDIS.
**About you**
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised person to proactively engage and support consumers and carers throughout the NDIS access, planning, plan implementation and review processes.
Along with the relevant registration OR experience in disability and the NDIA OR a Lived Experience with the NDIA, you'll have experience working in the human services sector, for example mental health, disability, child services, allied health, social work, community development or education. Post-secondary qualifications in welfare work are also essential.
You'll also have to complete/provide a valid Victorian Working with Children Check, be willing to undergo a background check, and you'll require Australian working rights. A current Victorian Driver Licence is also essential.
