Financial Controller / Finance Business PartnerOur client is taking an exciting step in the evolution of their business and is looking to add a key new role to their team. We are seeking a hands-on, experienced finance professional who understands compliance, can contribute to business cases, drive efficiencies, and deliver strong, insightful analysis through regular reporting.Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this newly created, permanent position will provide critical financial support across the business. You will manage budgeting, reporting, and payroll functions, work alongside external accountants, and add strategic value by analysing current contracts and operational performance. This role offers the opportunity to grow with the business, with future potential to step into broader leadership as the company continues to expand.Key Responsibilities:Deliver accurate, timely monthly reporting and strategic management packs for the Executive Team and Board.Develop financial models and business cases to support growth initiatives.Review and drive operational efficiencies across departments.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Support payroll and compliance activities.Collaborate with external accountants and legal advisors on tax and statutory obligations.About You:3–5 years' experience in a Finance, Business Partner, or Controller role.Experience in a SAAS, Enterprise Software, or tech-savvy company.Strong skills in financial modelling, analysis, and creating visual presentations.Business and financial acumen with a commercial mindset.High attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to be a thought leader in financial decision-making.Proficiency with accounting and reporting platforms (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, Power BI, or similar).Advanced Excel skills and experience in dashboard reporting and data visualization.You will join a dynamic, forward-thinking business at an exciting point of growth.
