In this role, you will:
As Centre Director, you will be at the heart of our centre’s success—leading with vision, purpose, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. You will guide a committed team and ensure the highest level of care, safety, and learning for all children.
* Leading a centre through the A&R process, preparing documentation, and supporting teams to demonstrate high-quality practice. Creating, maintaining, and evaluating the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan.
* Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
* Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
* Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
* Coaching, mentoring, and empowering educators to be their best.
* Overseeing centre performance, compliance, budgeting, rosters, and daily operations.

Goodstart Calliope is a welcoming early learning environment proudly rated ‘Meeting’ in our March 2024 Assessment and Rating. Our centre offers five thoughtfully designed rooms—from Nursery through to Kindergarten—providing a nurturing space for every child’s learning journey.
Our 75‑place centre supports families with flexibility during our operating hours from Monday – Friday, 6:15am – 6:15pm while fostering a strong sense of connection and belonging.

You’ll need:
* A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education ( or working towards)
* Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
* Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
* Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
