Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and co-ordinate daily output of both bureaus
- Provide effective leadership for whole-of-team approach to content creation
- Generate stories that are relevant to broad sections of Australians and reflect cultural, geographic, and socio-economic diversity
- Align regional content with ABC News' strategy and audience expectations
- Develop and build team capability
Requirements
- Proven track record in Radio, TV, Digital, and/or News content making environment
- Strong editorial skills in planning, gathering, and producing innovative content
- Effective leadership skills with superior organisational and communication skills
- Experience creating agenda-setting live radio in contemporary manner with audience focus
