Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Service Project Engineer is to lead and manage Service Projects from conception to completion. This involves planning, executing, and supervising projects that may involve process analysis, equipment specification, equipment supply, shutdown services, construction supervision, pre-commissioning, commissioning, plant start-up and performance testing.
Service Project Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of service projects by engaging with Client Management, Vendors, Suppliers, Sub-contractors and Company Management to execute the contract scope.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage service projects, including onsite construction and installation supervision, inspections, pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing and start-up of the plant.
* Prepare equipment and systems for operation, in accordance with the contract requirements, specifications and procedures.
* Generate and/or support development of site work procedures necessary to safely execute construction and commissioning activity onsite.
* Provide operational and technical support in both onshore and offshore locations for plant supplied by the company.
* Provide mechanical and process advice onsite to prepare for the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the plant.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering and project management.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally at short notice.
