Civil Engineer – Senior to Principal Level
Opportunity to join our Civil Infrastructure team in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Maroochydore.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver civil engineering projects from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction.
* Manage stakeholder and client relationships and represent AECOM across local and national projects.
* Provide technical quality assurance and directly supervise small teams, offering mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high‐quality results within budget and on schedule.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; Chartered Engineering and National Registration (CPEng RPEQ and NER) are highly desirable.
* At least 10–15 years of experience delivering multi‐disciplinary projects for a variety of clients, including Queensland Government and Defence.
* Working knowledge of drainage, utilities and transport infrastructure design principles and Australian standards (e.g. QUDM, SEQ Code, Austroads).
* Strong engineering judgement with experience leading design and development.
* Australian citizenship required; prior or current Defence clearance preferred or the ability to obtain a Defence Clearance with AGSVA.
