Responsibilities:
1. Consult with clients and stakeholders to determine design objectives and project constraints.
2. Research and analyse spatial, functional, efficiency, safety and aesthetic requirements.
3. Develop design concepts; prepare sketches, illustrations and plans to communicate ideas.
4. Coordinate design solutions with clients, management, suppliers and site teams.
5. Select and specify materials, furniture and fixtures for function and aesthetics.
6. Prepare detailed documentation and construction drawings for interior works.
7. Supervise construction and installation to ensure design intent and quality outcomes.
8. Develop and maintain BIM models (Revit, Archicad or similar) for coordination and cost estimation.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline.
2. 3–5 years' experience in residential and/or commercial interior design.
3. Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Archicad or equivalent) and familiarity with BIM documentation standards.
4. Strong construction detailing skills; ability to resolve on-site design issues.
5. Knowledge of building codes and interior material standards.
6. Excellent communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
