This role focuses on leading the planning and delivery of marketing led events across Australia and New Zealand. This is an initial parental leave cover, flexible to be based in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne for the right candidate, offering flexibility and the opportunity to join a large professional services firm.
Your role, your contribution!
* Leading end-to-end planning and execution of in person and online events, as well as coordinating marketing projects
* Developing event plans aligned to marketing and business strategy, ensuring objectives, target audiences and success metrics are clearly defined.
* Managing event budgets, timelines, supplier relationships, venues, and contracts.
* Overseeing online event experiences including registration journeys, audience engagement tools, and reporting.
* Integrating event activity into broader marketing campaigns to support business growth and client engagement.
* Implementing risk management strategies to ensure smooth event delivery.
* Analysing post event data and metrics to assess ROI and recommend improvements.
* Proactively using AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, improve workflows, and surface insights from campaign data.

What you bring to the role:
* Proven experience in marketing event coordination, specifically delivering end to end external corporate events.
* A digital first mindset, with a willingness to learn, promote and adopt AI tools to improve efficiency and event quality.
* Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint and HubSpot, and event platforms such as Eventbrite, or GoToWebinar.
* The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
* A proven track record of managing event budgets and supplier relationships effectively.
* The flexibility to travel interstate or to New Zealand for on the day event management when required.
* A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, or business.
