About the Opportunity
We have exciting opportunities for Qualified Chefs to join our Catering teams at our Villages across the Bowen Basin, Gunnedah Basin, and Pilbara Regions.
This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality food and beverages to agreed menus and operating standards, with a high focus on timeliness, presentation, and professional, friendly customer service and interactions with guests and staff.
Full-Time, Permanent positions available.

About You
To be successful, you will have:
9. A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent) and be able to provide a copy of your certification and competencies obtained in qualification.
10. Demonstrated relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial hospitality industry
11. Experience in high volume, fast paced kitchens
12. Competence in batch cooking across all service offerings
13. Capability to work well under pressure
14. Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team
15. Willingness to assist in staff training
16. Flexibility to work, day and/or night shifts if required for your role
17. The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
18. A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
19. Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
20. Exceptional communication skills
21. Excellent time management skills
22. Remote work experience (highly regarded)
23. Current Driver’s Licence (highly regarded)
