We're currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Technician - Prosthetics fabrication to join our experienced and supportive team, based in our purpose-built, modern facility in the beautiful regional city of Wollongong, just one hour south of Sydney on the NSW South Coast.
In this role, you'll work alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of others through high-quality prosthetic and orthotic services. This is an entry-level role, providing training and development for someone looking to build a long-term technical career in prosthetics.
The Role
As a Junior Prosthetic Technician, you will play a hands-on role in the fabrication and maintenance of prosthetic and orthotic devices under the guidance of experienced technicians and clinicians. You'll gain valuable skills in workshop practices and technical processes while contributing to the delivery of high-quality, patient-specific solutions.
Key Responsibilities
 * Assist with fabrication, assembly, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices
 * Safely use hand tools and powered equipment under supervision
 * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
 * Support senior technicians and clinicians with day-to-day technical requirements
 * Participate in training to develop skills in fabrication techniques and materials
 * Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
About You
 * Valid authority to work in Australia
 * No formal qualifications required; technical or workshop experience an advantage
 * Comfortable using hand and power tools
 * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
 * Positive attitude with good teamwork and communication skills
 * Commitment to safe work practices
