About the Role
Sunshine Coast based residential homes builder is currently experiencing growth with a strong pipeline of new large-scale residential projects, so a rare and exciting opportunity exists to work closely with the project leadership team.
We are in need of a construction support specialist / project coordinator who can oversee all processes following the initial pre-contract processes through to handover, with this varied role seeing you work across pre-construction, colour selections, construction support during the build and also jumping back in at the back-end to monitor the warranty period following construction hand-over.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set up and maintain project files from pre-site to settlement.
2. Assist project managers with subcontract and supplier procurement.
3. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
4. Manage quote requests and general procurement tasks, including generating subcontracts and purchase orders.
5. Handle contract variations.
6. Liaise with estimating and drafting teams.
7. Obtain permit applications and developer approvals.
8. Provide administrative support to the site teams.
9. Coordinate the connection of all utilities.
10. Conduct WHS&E administration and compliance checks.
11. Prepare site files complete with all current project documentation.
12. Prepare Occupation Certificates and handover packs.
13. Following construction handover, manage client files to monitor the initial warranty & defect period, scheduling and maintaining any due works.
About You
1. Experience within the residential construction sector in a similar role is preferred.
2. The ability to multi-task and prioritise a changing workload.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Strong IT skills including MS Office suite and the ability to grasp new systems with ease.
5. Experience using Jonas Premier project management software is an advantage.
6. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
