About the RoleThe Queensland Melanoma Project and Upper GI Research Unit of the Princess Alexandra Hospital is dedicated to providing a high quality service for the delivery of clinical research treatments for patients with melanoma and Upper GI malignancies.
Some key responsibilities of the Research Officer role include: - Providing high level administrative and executive support to stakeholders (internal and external) including researchers, clinicians, sponsors and others on relevant ethical regulatory requirements and standards. Assisting the Trial coordinators as required for the co-ordination of the ethics and research governance related duties within the Queensland Melanoma Project. Assisting in preparing reports and correspondence for the Trials Unit Manager as required. Assisting with the financial aspects of conducting clinical trials within the Queensland Melanoma Project.
