Electrical Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tasmania.
* Undertake project work, service equipment and perform preventative maintenance tasks and repairs on a rotational shift basis.
* Be responsible for Electrical, Instrumentation Gas Facilities maintenance and repairs to fixed and/or mobile equipment.
* Provide technical expertise in the plant process to diagnose and correct all Electrical equipment.
* Identify and control all hazards associated with electrical maintenance duties.
* Report and assign clean-up for all hydrocarbon spills.
* Attend and conduct safety toolbox and per-shift meetings.
The successful candidate will have:
* Able to work safely in an isolated environment with minimal supervision.
* Experience in High Voltage up to 22KV.
* Holder of a Certificate III in Instrumentation or related qualification.
* Hold a Type B Restricted Gas Licence or willing to obtain it.
* Work experience adhering to Australian Standards Isolations up to 415v limited 3.3kv.
* Current Electrical Technicians Licence.
* Background in Mining or Mineral processing industry.
