Job Opportunity: Housekeeping
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
* Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the allocated time frame.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
* Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
* Use specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
* Build strong relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to foster a positive work environment.
Shift Details:
* Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.
* Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9:00am.
Hourly Rates:
Monday – Friday: $32.31 per hour
Saturday: $38.78 per hour
Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications:
* Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
* Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
* Good physical fitness and stamina, with ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
* Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Positive and proactive attitude with strong work ethic.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
