ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in Epping, the Social Enterprise Coordinator will provide high quality, day-to-day coordination of two of WCC's social enterprises: our multilingual driving school, driverED and our on-demand mobile childcare service, Women in Work.

As a critical team member, you will be at the heart of ensuring enterprise success, and responsible for end-to-end delivery of services. You'll work closely with our team of childcare educators and driving instructors, deliver high quality account management to clients and customers across a range of industries, handle all referrals and bookings in a timely and professional manner, support financial processes, ensure smooth operations, and make sure admin and reporting is accurate and on time.

With support from the Social Enterprise Lead, you will ensure that our enterprises create local jobs, skills and opportunities while delivering practical services for the community. It is anticipated that as the enterprises grow, there will be possibility for increased hours.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Staffing and contractors

* Key point of contact for enterprise workforce and contractors, including recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding, training and compliance.
* Monitor staff and contractor service delivery to ensure it is of a high standard.
* Provide constructive support to enterprise teams to ensure their success, identifying skill development needs, and organising quarterly meetings.
* Ensure all timesheets and invoicing is completed on time and submitted accurately.
* Support the Social Enterprise Lead to develop, deliver and monitor employment pathways and skill development for enterprise beneficiaries.

Client account management

* Key point of contact for all client/ customer bookings and enquiries for both enterprises.
* Deliver responsive and professional client/ customer service through high quality communication and problem-solving.
* Build positive relationships with enterprise clients, customers and partners, supporting business growth and impact, and identifying new business opportunities.
* Conduct regular meetings, ensure timely reporting, and gather feedback to improve client/ customer service delivery.
* Support the Social Enterprise Lead with new business proposals.

Service delivery

* Manage all client/ customer bookings and enquiries on a daily basis and within agreed timeframes.
* Schedule all bookings in appropriate platforms and allocate the appropriate educator/ instructor.
* Ensure that educators/ instructors are appropriately briefed for jobs and have accurate information.
* Oversee and assess the progress of all service delivery, working closely with educators and instructors to ensure that services are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
* Work quickly and proactively to trouble shoot any issues, handling sensitive enquiries and complaints with maturity and discretion.
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within required timeframes, including intake forms, logbooks and competency reports.
* Capture, monitor and respond to feedback.
* Where required, coordinate or provide casework support to funded learner drivers.

Operations and administration

* Coordinate and drive the day-to-day operations of both enterprises.
* Monitor compliance, including working with children and police checks, driver accreditation, licences, insurance, OH&S, first aid, venue safety checks, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage driverED fleet, ensuring all vehicles are regularly maintained in a safe, roadworthy and clean condition, are registered and insured, are serviced, and stored in a secure location.
* Maintain enterprise equipment, including the toy library.
* Maintain appropriate and accurate records and data collection.
* Coordinate client quotes and invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
* Support Social Enterprise Lead with operational and risk management planning and enterprise evaluation to improve service delivery and inform future directions.

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly organised, responsive and motivated team player, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving. You have experience in coordinating business operations and managing relationships with multiple clients from a variety of industries, spanning community service, local government, health and employment. You love logistics, scheduling and data, have a strong attention to detail, and commercial and financial acumen.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A qualification in the field of business, social enterprise, community development, or a minimum of two years' experience in a relevant role.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

* Experience in the successful delivery of social enterprises or for-purpose programs.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and a highly developed professional presence with clients and colleagues.
* Demonstrated capacity for resourcefulness and self-motivation and an ability to manage competing work priorities and solutions.
* Experience coordinating multiple teams from diverse backgrounds and building constructive working relationships to ensure successful delivery of services.
* Experience in working in environments that prioritise client safety and risk management.
* Experience working in challenging situations with vulnerable community members, particularly young people and women from a refugee background.
* A quick learner with strong digital and financial literacy. Comfortable exploring new software and platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, CRM software, Excel, social media platforms, WordPress and Adobe.
* A demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity, access and community participation.

Ability to speak a community language other than English is a benefit.

To be eligible to apply for this position you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa and a current Victorian Drivers licence.

SALARY & CONDITIONS

* Conditions will be in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS), Level 4 ($ $47.97 p.h.)
* This position is offered as a part-time, fixed term contract for 22.8 hours per week for 2 years. It is expected that hours will be spread across 5-days in order to manage client booking requests and worker coordination. As the enterprises grow, there is the possibility for increased hours.
* The successful applicant will be required to enter into an employment contract.
* The successful applicant must currently hold or pass a Working with Children Check in accordance with the Working with Children Act 2005 and National Police Check.
* Generous salary sacrifice arrangements, if taken up by the employee, can increase the net value of the remuneration received.
* The worker is required to use her/his own vehicle for work purposes from time-to-time. A kilometre allowance in accordance with the award is provided.
* Occasional after hours and weekend work may be required.
